Welcome to Kerdeven, a beautiful 16th century Manor and restored farm buildings with an interesting history ! The main house was constructed around 1550, and locals tell of an underground tunnel between the Manor and a local farm 2km away over the hills. Supposedly dug out during the French Revolution, the tunnel was said to have been used by the resident aristocracy as a safe hiding place or quick escape route. These stories are given credence by the crest above the Gothic doorway where the family Coat of Arms was said to have been effaced by the revolting peasants ! In later years, Kerdeven became a farm until the last family left and we were fortunate to discover it deserted whilst holidaying in Brittany ourselves in 1992.

Our 11m by 6m heated swimming pool is thoughtfully situated and easily accessible to all via a gently sloping path-way. The pool water is kept sparkling clean using an ozone generator which not only ensures that micro-organisms are destroyed 3000 faster than chlorine, but you will find that the water will feel fresh and clean every time you use the pool. The views from the poolside are lovely and we have integrated a shallow splash area for babies and toddlers, a slide for the more adventurous and sun- loungers for our guests who wish simply to relax.
