The Manoir de Kerdeven is the 16th century former Hunting lodge of the Duc de Rohan. It has been extensively renovated to provide a magnificent holiday home whilst retaining many of its’ original features and the grandeur of a former age. A solid oak arched entrance door leads to the banqueting hall with its’ wood-burning stove that augments the under-floor heating. In this room there is a small bar area with a chilled beer pump. You may pre-order a 30 litre keg before you arrive if you wish.

A further gothic arched doorway leads to the drawing room. Here there is a magnificent wood-burning stove, a small library and English satellite TV. From this room is accessed the large kitchen with farmhouse style dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Leisure Range-master cooking range, American style fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. On this floor there is also a ‘snug’ area and shower room.

A solid oak staircase takes you to the first floor where there is a massive double bedroom with king sized bed and a large en suite bath/shower room. (If required there are also a bed settee and bunk beds for use in this room). On the same floor there is a 2 bedroom family suite that has another huge bedroom with satellite TV and a comfortable sofa. Through this room and along a corridor there is a twin room and bathroom, making a comfortable suite for a family. (We are able to offer additional bunk beds in this suite). In the tower there are an additional twin and double room each with an en suite shower room and another twin room. Please talk to us about your needs for cots or high chairs.

Outside there is a private enclosed terrace overlooked by the kitchen. Just beyond the Koi Carp pond opposite the front door is your private eating area with barbecue spread beneath the shade of an old walnut tree.
